Information and Communication Technology A level at Nower Hill High School
You will learn to use computer software, such as Excel for spreadsheets and Access for databases. You will also have an opportunity to create a system for a user, to develop your ability to analyse, appraise and make critical judgements about the use of ICT.
You will learn about the role of ICT in management and dissemination of information and develop an awareness of the economic, social and ethical implications of the use of ICT systems.

- INFO 3: Use of ICT in the digital world
- INFO 4: Practical issues involved in the use of ICT in the digital world
You are not required to have studied ICT in advance, but if you studied ICT or Computing as a GCSE subject, you must have achieved Grade C or above.
Written examinations 80% and coursework 20%.
This course provides a suitable qualification to progress on to university or full time employment. It leads to career opportunities within a wide variety of Information Communication Technology fields including project management, applications and systems analysis.

Standard stationery and writing materials, plus storage facility eg CD.
