Motor Vehicle Maintenance Level 1 Diploma at Newham College of Further Education

Course description

You will be introduced to motor vehicle technology and workshop methods/processes. You will learn the skills that are required to carry out routine maintenance and basic repairs on motor vehicles.

Entry requirements

There are no formal qualifications required, but you will need to demonstrate your desire and enthusiasm for studying in the field of motor vehicle maintenance. You also need to have skills in numeracy, written and spoken English at or above Entry Level 3.

Future opportunities

Successful completion of this course will enable you to progress onto the level 2 Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair of light vehicles. Alternatively you could go straight into employment with the skills you have learned.
