Pathways to Independence 2 (FT) at Burton and South Derbyshire College
The courses are ideally suited for people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities and are designed to provide a progression route from school or residential college. The learning environment is supportive and stimulating, encouraging students to grow in confidence and gain new skills. The courses also include a variety of exciting work experience trips and visits. This course is designed to provide a progression route from Pathways to Independence 1 or in some cases directly from school or other educational settings. As well as working towards entry-level 2 & 3 qualifications in Functional Maths, English and IT, you will have the opportunity to gain qualifications in independent living skills, exploring employment skills, media literacy, and occupational studies.
