Psychology at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar Alford - A Selective Academy

Course description

It is your opportunity to spend some time finding out about probably the most interesting thing in the world --- YOU!
The single greatest challenge we face is to understand ourselves as a species and gain a better insight into how our brains and our minds make us the people we are.
It is a highly relevant area of study. Just take a look around and you will see psychologists working in a variety of contexts. Psychologists help police catch criminals, help businesses sell products, work with people in distress and of course keep an eye on all the contestants in the Big Brother houses across the globe.

Entry requirements

To enter the Sixth Form, pupils should normally have achieved a minimum of 8 GCSE passes including English and Mathematics at grade C or above. For A level study, students should usually have a grade A or above (and at least a B) in the subjects they wish to study.
