(AMSPAR) Medical Administration Advanced Diploma Level 3 at South & City College Birmingham

Course description

This programme is aimed at those wishing to gain a nationally-recognised medical secretarial qualification. This qualification is highly recognised by employers and will be advantageous to those candidates seeking promotion or a career within a medical environment.

Entry requirements

Candidates should possess very good written English skills and be able to demonstrate that they can work at GCSE Grade C or above.Candidates must also have typing/word processing skills at a minimum of OCR (RSA) Level 1. Current work experience in a relevant environment e.g. NHS Trust or General Practice would be an advantage although not essential. However any learner working within a medical environment will need to find voluntary work in a medical environment over the period of the course in order to support and enhance learning. All candidates will need to undertake a literacy screening assessment prior to being accepted on the programme.
