Health & Social Care – Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3Progress your health and social care training and knowledge alongside your employer, with an Advanced Apprenticeship. Depending on your care setting you will study a variety of skills to prepare you for a career in the industry.You may also need to study Functional Skills Maths and English Level 2, Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) and Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) units to successfully complete your training.
There are no formal entry requirements but your previous skills and experience will be considered upon application.
Some attendance at the college may be required an an Assessor will also visit you in the workplace to carry out practical assessments and monitor your progress.
16 – 18 years – Course 100% funded19 – 23 years – No contribution is required at this moment in time.(employers may wish to help towards the costs)24+ years – Not funded. Course costs payable by employer/individual but loans may be available through the 24+ Advanced Learning Loan scheme.
