Arabic at Cardinal Newman Catholic School

Course description

By studying A-level Arabic you will be able to communicate confidently and clearly in a major world language. You will develop a range of skills that include analysing and exchanging information, ideas, attitudes and opinions. You will also learn about the Arabic language, culture and tradition. You will develop deeper insights through both discussions and first hand contact.

This interesting course will enable you to consider your own culture and compare it with the culture of other countries. For many students it enables them to retain and develop their mother language and gives them the opportunity to use the understanding and skills as part of their future studies and career.

Entry requirements

The equivalent of atleast five GCSEs at grade C or above
