Customer Service Apprenticeship at Northampton College

Course description

The requirement for excellent customer service exists in all sectors. The aim of this qualification is to increase awareness on the delivery of customer service and to encourage staff to adopt a positive attitude towards customer service. The apprentice will complete the following: - Diploma in Customer Service Level 2 - Functional Skills Level 1 in: - Maths - English - Personal Learning and Thinking Skills - Employees Rights and Responsibilities The programme is primarily delivered at the candidate's place of work although some attendance will be required at the College. Course content

Apprentices will gain practical skills and qualifications that your business needs both now and in the future. With a mixture of on and off the job training they will learn the skills that will work best for your business. Apprenticeships can make your business more productive and effective by addressing your skills gaps.

Entry requirements

You must be in relevant employment to start an Apprenticeship and pass an initial assessment in English and Maths.


The Diploma is evaluated through: - a series of practical assessments and a portfolio of work - Written tasks and theory workFunctional Skills are assessed through examinations.
