Business Administration Apprenticeship Intermediate Level at Guildford College
The Business Administration apprenticeships are designed to provide work-based training, development and new learning opportunities, to develop your knowledge and skills within the workplace.
Every business needs effective administration and that need remains whatever else changes in terms of new products and services, new technologies and new organisational structures.
Learning is based on real-life work scenarios from within your own employment and evidence to support achievement of criteria taken from these scenarios.
Our work-based assessors are experts within their field with many years experience within industry.
You must be working in a business administration role and be interested in developing your skills. Alternatively, we have a number of vacancies each week and are able to help you find an employer.
Advanced apprentices must have two to four GCSEs at grade A* - D, including Maths and English.
You will be observed and assessed in the workplace. Regular review meetings will take place with you, your assessor and employer to support the achievement of the qualification.
Evidence in the form of photographs, videos, witness statements, assignments etc. are uploaded on to an electronic e-portfolio which can be accessed by the Assessor to monitor progress.
Assessment for functional skills will take the form of written and on-line tests.
Intermediate apprentices, with support and opportunities in the workplace, can progress onto the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration or other level 3 Advanced Apprenticeships such as Sales & Telesales or Management.
Alternatively they may choose to move onto further education to undertake marketing, social research or other qualifications.
With additional training, apprentices may be able to progress in their careers into supervisory and managerial roles.
