Students will also complete units in psychology, biology and literature.
Topics of study include:
- Teaching theory
- Teaching practice
- Teaching in context (aspects of biology, psychology and literature)

To ensure progression to university you should ensure that you meet the GCSE/Functional Skills and work experience requirements of different universities.
Assessment is continuous and includes professional portfolios, essays and report writing and presentations. During April students also complete exams. The final assessment is a 3000 word research project.
