Course description

The certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair aims to equip participants with the knowledge, understanding and practical skills required for working in a Motor Vehicle Workshop environment. At Level 3 we will assist you in developing a deeper understanding of diagnostic procedures, interfacing with customers and supporting your colleagues with their own development.

Course content

This course is aimed at individuals working in, or who have basic experience and understanding of working within a motor vehicle workshop environment. At Level 3 you will need to be in a senior or experienced role.

How will it be delivered?

You will be assigned a dedicated assessor from our team of industry specialists who will visit you at work every 4-6 weeks at a time to suit you and your employer. They will become your support and guidance throughout your course. Your NVQ will include various voice recorded assessments such as observations and guided discussions. This qualification takes a minimum of 12 months to achieve.
