Food Industry Skills Level 3 Apprenticeship at Reaseheath College

Course description

You will combine work in food manufacturing or development with additional training in the workplace delivered by Reaseheath tutors. Depending on your industry focus, you will study one of the following pathways; dairy, meat and poultry, food industry, baking or food manufacture.

In addition to gaining your apprenticeship you will develop important industry skills and have the opportunity to complete additional certificates in health and safety and food safety.

You will gain:

  • Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Food Industry Skills
  • Certificates in Health and Safety and Food Safety
  • Functional Skills or GCSE in English and Maths depending on previous qualifications

Entry requirements

  • Preferably 3 GCSEs at grades C or above including English and Maths

    • You will be studying in the beautiful, rural setting of Cheshire, one mile from the market town of Nantwich with good connections to Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and Chester. 

      The Reaseheath campus itself is small enough to retain its friendly, family atmosphere, but large enough for you to be able to mix with lots of groups of students. 

      Our front lawn is great to sit out on during the summer and the College lake has much wildlife to watch. 

      Over the past few years we have invested over £50 million in our campus to give you the best possible environment for learning.
