You will need to do a number of qualifications including the NVQ Level 3 in Laboratory Technician and a Technical Certificate. You’ll also get the chance to do Functional Skills, though you might not have to if you already have good GCSE grades for maths and English.
You will need to be in relevant employment, but we can support you to find this. You will also need a minimum of 5 GCSEs grade A*-C or successfully completed a Level 2 course.
We will assess your practical skills and observe you at work. A personal assessor will visit you in your workplace to review your progress and make sure you are on target to get your qualifications.
