Engineering Level 3 at Malvern Hills College
This course is partly run at the META (Mechanical Engineering Training Academy) on Vale Business Park in Evesham, as well as in the engineering workshops at our Evesham campus.
As an engineering student you will be studying modules in a variety of areas, which will lead you to gaining experience in, amongst other things;
- Engineering health and safety
- Engineering principles
- Principles of mechanical manufacturing engineering
- Principles of electrical and electronic engineering
- CNC machining of materials
- Produce drawings using CAD
This course will provide you with the opportunity to gain the qualifications, knowledge and experience needed for a career in the ever-expanding Engineering Industry.How will I be studying?
As far as possible the course is practically based. Much of this course will involve practical activities in a real workshop with simulated manufacturing and inspection tasks. Theory based sessions will be taught in the classroom.
You will be required to have successfully achieved Level 2 Engineering. (If Learners require an additional Functional Skills qualification this can be gained during the course).
This course can lead to direct entry in to employment or further study at university.
