Community/Sports Leadership Level 2 Award at Richard Challoner School
The Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership (Year 12) is a nationally recognised leadership award and qualification that help people develop essential skills such as organisation, motivation, communication and working with others.
The Level 2 Award in Community/Sports Leadership (S/CSL) qualification enables successful candidates to independently lead groups of people in sport and recreational activities. The qualification teaches generic leadership skills such as organisation, planning, communication and teamwork through the medium of sport. There are seven units of work to complete.
Essential: A student must have a real enthusiasm for Sport and demonstrate both practically and theoretically a very good understanding of the skills and techniques of at least one sport. Links to an external sports club are essential to facilitate their external leadership placement (10 hours)
Preferred: Real enthusiasm for sport. Basic Literacy and Numeracy. Grade 4 at English Language and Mathematics preferred.
