Course description

Geography investigates the real-life issues behind physical environments and human activity. As international links become closer, easier and faster and populations grow and become more culturally diverse, we need to understand our world, protect our resources and appreciate the cultures, backgrounds and surroundings of people from all over the globe.

A-level Geography will develop your understanding of the arising issues and the need to safeguard the global environment. Course trips have included visiting Brick Lane in London and Iceland! You will develop a range of useful transferable skills such as research, data collection using new technologies, presentations and report writing. Geography is the springboard to a wide variety of careers in economics, law and politics and beyond, from local to international level.
