Course description

Psychology at Level 3 (AS/A2) is designed for those people who wish to:

Find out about the way we learn and remember information
Understand what makes us behave the way we do
Investigate how psychology affects our everyday lives

The course is broadly based on analytical skills and incorporating psychology into everyday lives.

H/500/7932 - Topics in Psychology
The relative percentage weighting of this unit within the qualifications is 25.00%.

M/500/7934 - Psychopathology, Psychology in Action and Research Methods
The relative percentage weighting of this unit within the qualifications is 25.00%.

Entry requirements

At least 5A* to C at GCSE including English Language and Maths and Science

Assessment

  • Written Examination

All A2 units are assessed through independent assessment. Holistic assessment is also addressed within A2 units
