Level 1 Diploma in Caring for Children at Lincolnshire Regional College
The course is College based with a small amount of time allocated for placements for suitable candidates. This course is designed to stimulate interest and encourage the learners’ understanding of the skills required to care for children. You will continue to develop numeracy and literacy skills by attending functional skills classes.
Candidates should be from 16 - 19 years of age and are expected to have recently attempted GCSEs and achieved D/E Grades.
Learners will need to be police cleared (enhanced CRB) to ensure suitability for work with children. Learners will attend a minimum of 2 weeks work experience to be arranged by the course tutor at the end of the course.
