Food and Beverage Service BTEC Certificate Level 2 Level 2 at The Manchester College
To take your hospitality industry skills to the next level and enhance your employability as a hotel or restaurant manager, this Level 2 certificate will provide you with further expertise and abilities in customer service.Building on the foundation skills you will have developed on our Level 1 certificate or diploma, this 36-week full-time course, starting in September 2017, will give you the skills you need to further enhance your professional silver service and table service within the hospitality industry. You will learn about the importance of a safe, hygienic and secure working environments, how to work as part of a team, how to apply for a job and prepare for a successful interview.You’ll also learn the hygiene requirements of a hospitality working environment and delve deeper into customer service and food and drinks service.
Throughout this course, you will build a portfolio of work. You will also be assessed through practical tests in a workplace or realistic working environment.
