Bench Joinery - Apprenticeship Level 2 (EAOP) at Stockport College Apprenticeships

Course description

This 2 year apprenticeship will give you the underpinning knowledge of Joinery in Year 1 -You will cover Health & Safety Practice, Use of Hand Tools, Use of Power Tools, Fitting Ironmongery, Architraves/Skirting boards, Doormaking/hanging, Tool sharpening, Window frames, Information/quantities, Communication. Year 2 - Manufacture doors, door frames, stairs, cabinets, windows, panelling, and use of circular saws. Stockport College will deliver a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Bench Joinery via work based learning, weekly day release at College along with relevant Functional Skills and Technical Certificate. The minimum duration of the apprenticeship will be 24 months and full training will be provided by the employer.
