Caring for Children CACHE Entry Level 3/Certificate at Hull College Group

Course description

This qualification encourages an understanding of the knowledge and the skills needed to care for young children.  It will cover children’s growth, learning and development.  The qualification has some activities for young children.

Entry requirements

Suitable initial assessment. References, Clean Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS).

Assessment

The units are assessed in many different ways and the work is often hands on and practical.

Future opportunities

Level 1 Award/Certificate in Caring for Children. 

This qualification does not qualify you to work but does support you in preparing for your ‘next steps’ either in training or moving towards work.

The College is also fortunate to have an active Student Union which hosts an annual ‘Freshers’ Fair’ for students at the beginning of the Autumn term and organises social events throughout the year.
