Art and Design (Fashion Pathway) BTEC Level 2 Diploma at Big Creative Training LTD

Course description

The course is aimed at budding young designers who are interested in taking up the challenge of working within the industry. Fashion is big business in the UK from the high street brands to designer labels within the world of Music & Entertainment. You will be working on fashion designs and garment making as well as develop your skills in digital photography and Photoshop. Your created designs and customized clothes will be presented to an industry guest and be featured at the IAMBCE Fashion show event. You will also organize and participate in a photo shoot which includes photography, make up, styling and modelling.

Entry requirements

The course will begin in September 2016 and lasts for one year


All of our courses are vocational which means they are designed to compliment learners with a visual and kinaesthetic learning style. 

As a result, you will be assessed via a range of both practical and written assignments.

Future opportunities

We would actively encourage you to progress onto one of our Level 3 programmes at Big Creative Academy. This will allow you to further develop your creative skills and continue to focus on your English and/or Maths. 

Alternatively, if you have five GCSEs at grade C or above (including English and Maths) then you can progress onto one of our BCE Apprenticeship programmes. 

You also have the option to progress into employment.
