Mechanical Engineering Level 3 Apprenticeship at Lakes College West Cumbria

Course description

The Apprenticeship is a programme of vocational education and training whereby you will develop your skills, whilst learning on the job, building up your knowledge and experience, gaining qualifications and earning money all at the same time. As an Advanced Apprentice, you will: Comply with statutory regulations and organisational safety requirements, Using and Interpreting Engineering Data and Documentation, Working Efficiently and Effectively in Engineering. Level 3 Mechanical Manufacturing students will concentrate on specialist units such as: Setting and Using Centre Lathes and Setting and Using Milling Machines.

Entry requirements

Relevant Level 2 Qualification or have significant experience

Financial information

Apprenticeships are Government funded depending upon age and circumstance

Future opportunities

Progression onto the HNC in Mechanical Engineering, promotion within the workplace or further career options in Mechanical Engineering.
