National Diploma in Childrens Play and Development at Hartlepool Sixth Form College
.You will study the most current and relevant National Early Years qualification available. Topics you will study include: how children learn and develop; how to support children’s literacy and numeracy and health, education and social services for children and their families. You will put this learning into practice as you complete compulsory placement experience in schools, nursery schools and day nurseries.
Entry requirements are 4 GCSE’s at grade C or above, one of which must be English Language.
This course can progress to higher education to study primay teaching, paediatric nursing, socila work as well as an Early Years Degree. Popular destinations for our students include Durham, York, Teeside, Northumbria, Sunderland and Liverpool.
