BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Health & Social Care at Appleby Heritage Centre

Course description

BTEC diplomas provide a practical insight into the workings of real businesses and the secrets of their success.  A BTEC diploma is an ideal qualification for those looking to secure a job within a service or retail sector, or indeed for those looking to study at a university.

Entry requirements

To study at Level 3 students will need to be 16 years old and normally have at least 4 GCSE's (grades A*-C) or equivalent. Students should have a good level of numeracy and literacy to engage with the theoretical aspects of the course.



Future opportunities

A Level 3 BTEC Certificate is equivalent to 1 GCE AS Level.
