Art & Design (Fashion and Clothing) at Ysgol Gyfun Dyffryn Teifi

Course description

The course aims to develop student’s creative and technical skills to enable them to progress to higher education or gain employment within the field of fashion. Students are encouraged to be independent, inquiring and capable of responding to set projects and developing self initiated work. Course content includes research, fashion design, illustration, pattern construction and production techniques.
Throughout the course students will have company visits to support project work or course work, work placements, guest speakers from industry in the classroom, and live projects brought into college from local companies.

styling, merchandising, buying and costume design.
