Why choose Drama?
If you have enjoyed Lower School Drama then you will find GCSE Drama an interesting and exciting challenge. There is plenty of opportunity for scripted and improvised work as well as learning about the demands of stagecraft. If you are interested in a career in any aspect of the Arts, or are thinking of doing Advanced Level Theatre Studies, then Drama would be a valuable asset, but even if you are not, the skills acquired will enhance your self-confidence, ability to communicate and appreciation of live theatre.
You will be expected to attend a variety of live performances (this forms part of the written examination), some of which may be in your own time. You will be encouraged to take part in extra-curricular drama activities
