Travel and Tourism with Cabin Crew Subsidiary Diploma/Diploma Level 3 at City of Bristol College

Course description

Over 2 years you will study a range of aspects of the tourism industry, as well as develop the English and maths skills employers need.

Course content

Course modules include: • What attracts people to the UK • What is the role of Air Cabin Crew • How does a travel agency operate • Customer service • Marketing • What it takes to work abroad • What life is like as a Resort Representative • What jobs are available to you and how you can apply for them • How we can respect cultures and communities when we travel.

Entry requirements

Five GCSE’s at C or above, including English and maths • A willingness to research • A desire to learn all about the tourism industry • A high level of written and verbal communication skills • A desire to succeed Learners must achieve a grade C pass or above in year one 90 credit diploma before progressing to year two Extended Diploma.
