Course description

At this level we define art as a ‘voice’ for the student and aim to offer a high level of support in terms of realising personal ideas, teaching technical skills and forms of expression. Students quickly establish their independence.

Staff deliver a broad range of disciplines, encouraging the emergence of their particular artistic identity. Trips to London, Parkrose Bird of Prey centre Bridlington and local galleries support  the course. The students are entered for AQA Fine Art course which is weighted 50% coursework and 50% controlled test.

At the end of the course they celebrate their achievements through an exhibition where friends and family are invited to attend.
