Look at becoming a food service apprentice to become a professional waiter or waitress.

Course content

If you choose to do a food and beverage apprenticeship you will do a BTEC NVQ level 2 diploma in food and beverage service, an award in hospitality and catering principles for food and beverage service and employment rights and responsibilities. You will also take key skills in application of number and communications.
