Citizenship Studies GCSE (Short Course) AQA 3107 at Sandown Bay Academy
All students follow courses in Citizenship. The aim is to encourage a sense of involvement in the community by way of practical activitied and theoretical work over the Yrs 10 & 11. Most students are enterd for the short course GCSE.

You could take this course to prepare for advanced level courses such as an A/AS Level in History or you may need to strengthen your grades by completing a foundation or intermediate vocational qualification. With further training, you could go into a job related to citizenship studies such as working in politics, in the media or within human rights. You could also go straight into employment and do further training or part time study with the support of your employer.
