Learners who wish to embark on a career within the plumbing sector.

 
The qualification covers the basic fundamental practical skills and knowledge required by someone aspiring to be a plumber. It covers a range of subjects including: Safe working practices, Understanding environmental protection systems, Understanding fundamental plumbing systems and understanding and demonstrating copper tube practical applications.

The qualification covers the basic fundamental practical skills and knowledge required by someone aspiring to be a plumber. Through a series of practical and theoretical sessions over the year.

Entry requirements

GCSE Maths and English at D-F or above.

Assessment

The course is assessed by practical assignments and on-line examinations.

Future opportunities
