Accountancy Apprenticeship AAT Academy Level 3 at The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London

Course description

You will complete the AAT Level 3 Diploma along with maths and English at Level 2. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will be building up your skills and knowledge of accountancy and other aspects of the apprenticeship framework. The core units you will study are; accounts preparation, cash management, costs and revenue, indirect tax, spread sheet software, ethics.

Course content

This AAT Diploma qualification, and maths and English, are taught in the classroom, and includes workshops, guest speakers and visits. You will be continuously assessed through skills tests and exams. An assessor will visit you every 8-12 weeks in your place of work to monitor your progress and performance as part of the apprenticeship requirements.

Entry requirements

You will need to take assessments and external exams at Level 3 to qualify this course. You must have Level 2 qualifications in Maths, English and ICT (GCSE grades A*-C or Key/Functional Skills at Level 2) or you will need to gain these qualifications as part of the apprenticeship programme. You must be employed within an accountancy role to qualify as an apprentice.

Future opportunities

You could progress to a Level 4 Accounting apprenticeship or an AAT Level 4 qualification through part time study at the College.
