Beauty - Nail Services Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship (HAB1) at Barnsley College

Course description

The Nail Services Apprenticeship enables you to gain practical skills, in manicure, pedicure and nail art. Alongside the practical units you will study anatomy and physiology, reception duties, health and safety and business units, and Functional Skills.

Course content

Course themes:

• Enhancing and maintain nails using UV gel, liquid and powder and wraps

• Planning and create nail art designs

• Developing a range of creative nail images

• Preparing and finish nail overlays using electric files

Entry requirements

Level 2 Diploma in Nail Services or Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy (General) PLUS 3 GCSEs at grade A* to C including English at grade 4/C or above


You will be assessed by your assessor using a portfolio of evidence, practical demonstrations and assignments. You will be assessed both in College and in your place of work.
