Film Studies at Thomas Adams School

Course description

The Film Studies course provides a programme of study that allows you to gain an understanding of how meanings are constructed within films as well as an insight into national cinema and global film industries. You must be prepared to watch both English Language and Foreign Language films, undertake detailed moving image analyses and conduct research for both class discussions and written assessments.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs at C grade or above including English.

A keen interest in the deconstruction of films and the film industry is essential.
