Course description

This is an ideal qualification for those interested in a career within the Uniformed Services, such as the Fire Service, Police or Military. The qualification is delivered by experienced service men and women who can guide you to developing the skills and abilities required for your chosen career path. You will study topics like crime and its effects on society, improving health & fitness and employment in the uniformed services.

Entry requirements

You will need 4 GCSEs at grade D or above including English or maths. Alternatively you will need a suitable level 1 diploma in a related subject with Functional Skills English or Maths.

Assessment

Our course is 100% course work and you will complete practical projects, presentations, reports and a portfolio. Some sections will be completed individually and some in a group to help you develop team working skills.

Future opportunities

On completion of the Level 2 Diploma you have the opportunity to progress onto the Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Uniformed Services. Alternatively, you may like to consider a career within Uniformed Services, such as Police, Emergency Services, RAF, Army etc.
