Sociology at All Hallows Catholic College

Course description

Do you have an enquiring mind? Are you interested in modern, contemporary Britain? Do you want to know more about the social world we live in? If so, Sociology is the subject for you.

Sociology allows us to understand how we live our lives. It gives you an opportunity to look at cultures from around the world and compare them with your own experiences.

Sociology helps you to put your own life in context and to question many aspects of your life that you may have taken for granted. Most importantly it makes you question the things that go on around you. This is an invaluable skill for anyone thinking of higher education. Sociology helps you to become a more socially aware member of society.
