Course description

You will be trained in food preparation, customer care, working relationshops, hygiene in food storage and preparation and cooking,dealing weith payments, counter service, cleaning food production areas and health and safety.

Course content

You will develop the necessary skills in food preparation, customer care, working relationships, hygiene in food storage and preparation and cooking, maintain food safely, prepare meals to meet relevant nutritional standards, present menu ideas, convert a room for dining, dealing with payments, counter services, cleaning food production areas and health and safety and egonomics

Entry requirements

An informal interview and four week initial assessment period.

Financial information

Apprenticeship wage approx £100pw

Future opportunities

To progress to NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Apprenticeship through Further Education and to gain employment.
