Media Production BTEC Level 3 at The Hermitage Academy

Course description

The Media industry is large and varied and employs people at many levels, in many types of jobs and within many areas.

This is a practical course and you learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. It is equivalent to one A level which means when you have finished the course you can choose whether to get a job straight away or go into higher education.

The course is made up of six units that include research techniques, pre-production techniques, music video production and television advertising.

BTEC Nationals are 100% coursework. Evidence for assessment will include a range of activities including assignment and project work, case studies, presentations and production work.
