Business Administration Intermediate Apprenticeship Level 2 at PETROC
One of the great things about the Business and Administration Apprenticeship is that almost all businesses require these skills and processes. This sort of work requires a strong sense of responsibility, accuracy and attention to detail.
Every business needs administrators. Without administrators, information would be hard to find, meetings would be missed and businesses would be less productive.
Administration roles are also an excellent starting point to move into management once more experience has been gained.Your apprenticeship programme is made up of the following components:
NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Business & Administration.
Level 2 Certificate in Business & Administration.
Functional Skills in Application of Number at Level 1, and in Communications at Level 1 as well ICT (unless exempt by prior achievement).
Four GCSEs at Grade D (or equivalent) or above ideally to include maths and English. You must have secured employment in order to start this programme and have a good basic education. Some employers will ask for GCSEs in English and Maths at level C or above. Enthusiasm for your subject and a willingness to work hard are essential.
Once you have successfully completed the apprenticeship programme, and you are able to demonstrate a significant increase in personal responsibilities in the workplace, you will be able to progress on to the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship programme.
