Production Arts 90 Credit/Extended Diploma Level 3 at City of Bristol College

Course description

The course allows students the opportunity to develop, experiment and refine production art techniques. You will also develop your personal presentation, communication and organisational skills. Work experience opportunities are available through external contacts.

- Production for theatre performance
- Make-up application skills
- Full body make-up
- Special effects make-up
- Period make-up, hair design & wig making for performing arts
- Fantasy hair & make-up for performers
- Make-up using prosthetics

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs at grade C or above which must include English and/or maths or equivalent (L2 Functional Skills), a Higher Diploma (which is equivalent to 7 GCSEs at grade A*-C), NVQ 2 or Level 2 Diploma at merit grade with ideally GCSE English and/or maths at minimum grade C or equivalent (L2 Functional Skills). Also a Level 2 qualification in hair and media make-up is appropriate.
