Electrical Design Apprenticeship – Advanced Apprenticeship at GEN II Engineering & Technology Training Ltd

Course description

Electrical Design Engineering is a highly skilled technical role that will require you to work with a design house designing a wide range of electrical and electronic installations.

Electrical Design Engineers need to be safety conscious and have good IT, mathematics and communication skills. The training for this role will differ between training centres. West Cumbria learners will train for the first year in the training centre or following electrical programmes, then after the first year the learner will transfer to design in the Design Department with their employer. North and South Cumbria learners will undertake their training with their employer as soon as their apprenticeship commences.

Entry requirements

GCSE Grades A-C in Mathematics, English and Science. Although employer requirements may vary. Successfully pass the Gen2 aptitude testing. Satisfactory reference.
