Media Studies A-Level at The McAuley Catholic High School

Course description

This course gives you the opportunity to examine a vast and diverse industry, developing your understanding of key concepts relating to the media, its products and their creation and consumption. The subject covers a mix of theoretical analysis and practical work, with a broad choice of project briefs, giving you the chance to develop a range of technical skills and the flexibility to choose topics of interest.

Entry requirements

You will need a minimum of Grade C in English Language at GCSE.It is also vital that you have genuine enthusiasm and openness for all elements of the media and media technology.
