French AS at Sutton College of Learning for Adults - SCOLA

Course description

Build on the knowledge, understanding and skills for GCSE, but also accommodate the needs of students who have an appropriate level of the language but have not studied for GCSE. Integrate, where appropriate, the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in the development of linguistic competence. Provide a coherent satisfying and worthwhile course of study for students who do not progress to further study in the subject.

Entry requirements

To have completed a course equivalent of GCSE to at least Grade B or to have lived in a French speaking country
