Computer Science AS at King David High School
Computer science is a practical subject where learners can apply the academic principles learned in the classroom to real world systems. It is an intensely creative subject that combines invention and excitement, that can look at the natural world through a digital prism. Computer science encourages computational thinking, helping learners to develop the skills to solve problems, design systems and understand the power and limits of human and machine intelligence.
AS level units: Computing principles and algorithms and problem solving.
A 'B' grade in computing GCSE, A at AQA ICT short course, or Distinction level 2 BTEC in ICT.
Grade B in Mathematics.
2 written examinations in the untis studied.
