Course content

The Junior Sports Leader Award provides an opportunity for pupils to develop their communication, coaching, umpiring and leadership skills, leading to a nationally recognised qualification.
Pupils gain experience in leading others and have the chance to work with younger pupils, assisting in sports festivals.

Assessment

Teachers assessment of pupils
Pupils must complete one hour of sports leadership and complete their log book.

Future opportunities

You will have the opportunity in the Sixth Form to study for the Community Sports Leader Award.
