During the course you will have the opportunity to study a variety of units including Human Lifespan Development, Health and Social Care Value, Human Body Systems and Disorders and Social Influences on Health and Social Care.

During the course you will have the opportunity to study a variety of units including Human Lifespan Development, Health and Social Care Value, Human Body Systems and Disorders and Social Influences on Health and Social Care.

Entry requirements

You will need four GCSE grades D or above including English and Maths.

Assessment

You will be assessed on an on-going basis through a variety of methods including two externally assessed unit, assignments, case studies and presentations.

Future opportunities

This course provides the knowledge skills and understanding to allow you to progress on to Level 3 qualifactions, such as BTEC Level 3 in Health and Social Care, other Level 2 vocational qualifactions and related competence-based qualifactions in the health and social care sector.
