GCE AS Level Environmental Studies at Queen Elizabeth School

Course description

This is a new specification that relates students lives and experiences to environmental issues on a personal and global basis. There are two modules at AS: The Living Environment - The need for conservation; methods of conservation; ecological relationships including biotic and abiotic factors. The Physical Environment - Atmospheric gases, water and minerals; human exploitation of resources; unsustainable natural resources.

Entry requirements

GCSE passes in five subjects with grades A - C, including Additional Science and Science A, plus an interview and a reference.
