Course description

This course is aimed at a range of students, including young people to develop learner’s knowledge and awareness of health and social care and young people’s settings.

Course content

You will gain a comprehensive knowledge about the wider health and social care sectors.

Entry requirements

2 GCSEs, able to demonstrate a subject interest, Entry Level 3 qualification

Assessment

You will undertake tasks in your lessons.

Future opportunities

Upon successful completion you may be able to proceed onto a Level 2 childcare course.

The course does not qualify you to work with young children and young people but supports you to the next step in training towards working in the industry.
