"Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3Advance the practical skills you need for a career in the Motor Vehicle industry through the study of units such as:Routine vehicle maintenance activitiesEngine units and componentsAuxiliary electrical units and componentsChassis units and components and inspection of vehiclesYou may also need to study Functional Skills Maths, english and ICT Level 2, Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) and employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) units to successfully complete your training."

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements but your previous skills and experience will be considered upon application.

Assessment

Some attendance at the college may be required and an Assessor will also visit you in the workplace to carry out practical assessments and monitor your progress.

Financial information

16 – 18 years – Course 100% funded

19 – 23 years – No contribution is required at this moment in time.(employers may wish to help towards the costs)

24+ years – Not funded. Course costs payable by employer/individual but loans may be available through the 24+ Advanced Learning Loan scheme.
